Bio
I am a Recorder and Saxophone teacher from London, England. I have been playing for nearly 30 years, studying Recorder and Saxophone under Professor Ian Wilson, head of Woodwind, Christian Forshaw and Malcolm Miles at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. I am also a Clarinet Teacher.
I have been trained both classically and in jazz and enjoy teaching both to a professional standard.
Teaching Info
I enjoy teaching a variety of styles of music as appropriated by my training. I train ensembles and consorts and also provide one to one private tuition. I like to tailor lessons to my students so they can get the best out of them, playing music they enjoy whilst gaining the best technical and proficient skills.
Lessons may include: assembly, posture, finger/tongue coordination, performance technique, theory or composition and improvisation and of course playing great music
Amazing teacher, incredible knowledge of his instrument and associated repertoire. We are truly lucky to have him as our sons teacher.
