Bio
Hi, I’m Adam!
I began playing guitar when I was 8. During high school I started playing bass in the school jazz band. In 2014 I graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Music (jazz performance).
I’ve been teaching bass for 12 years.
Teaching Info
As a teacher I strive to help students build confidence, have fun and fit music into their life in a meaningful way. I encourage students to treat themselves compassionately as they encounter new challenges. I aim to create an environment in which students are free to experiment, make mistakes and learn.
For students wanting to try without a large commitment I’m happy to rent basses for home use and/or supply basses for lessons. If you’ve always wanted to try playing the bass, nows your chance!
Lessons take place at my home in Patumahoe or I can travel to you.
