As an orchestral musician, Jesbery has performed as Assistant Principal cello with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. She also performs with the Auckland Chamber Orchestra and Auckland Philharmonia, and has worked with the Royal New Zealand Ballet, Bach Musica NZ, Orchestra Wellington and Trust Waikato Symphony Orchestra. Also active in chamber music, she has enjoyed collaborating with many musicians around the country.

Jesbery has played in prestigious venues and festivals around Europe, including the Berlin Konzerthaus and Predjama Castle in Slovenia. Teaching Info

I guide students learning new skills through a focused, but relaxed and fun way through singing, clapping and playing. A solid grounding of technique is emphasised from the very start while I encourage students to explore their own voice as they reach new personal goals.

Scales, studies and pieces are the core of my teaching. ABRSM exams are encouraged once students have a natural understanding of fundamental cello playing and musicianship.

Lessons are normally 30 mins, 45 mins or 1 hour long. Subject to availability, 2 lessons/week will only be reserved for intermediate and advanced students.

Studio concerts are also held once or twice a year where students perform and celebrate their achievements with their peers.
