Bio
I perform regularly, both solo and with my band, Tina & The Turners. I have a Bachelor of Musical Arts, majoring in jazz vocals. I’ve also spent many years immersed in classical music, growing up classically trained in both cello and piano. As an artist, I make music under the name Agnes Aleesy, blending genres and exploring new sounds. I am an Artist in Residence at The Piano, which is where I teach my lessons.

With over 10 years of experience as a vocal coach, I’m dedicated to helping students of all levels discover their voice. I focus on creating a fun, relaxed, and supportive learning environment where you can feel free to explore your voice while building solid technique.
I am passionate about helping my students to:
- Sing freely without tension
- Gain confidence and skills to nail any song
- Learn great technique (without too much technical jargon)
- Perform in an embodied way
- Choose songs and goals suited to them
- Write and record their own songs (if interested)
- Learn how to accompany themselves on piano/guitar
- Have fun!
In addition to vocal coaching, I also teach songwriting, basic production, and piano, offering a well-rounded musical experience. Whether you’re looking to prepare for a performance, write original songs, or just build a stronger vocal foundation, I tailor lessons to suit your unique goals.
I only offer 1-hour lessons, so we can really get into things; however, I will consider shorter lessons if needed.
