Kia ora!
With a degree in Jazz Performace drums under my belt and mulitiple nationwide tours completed, I’m now taking on more students. I have experience performing all over the country in various iconic venues and music festivals.
I have 5 years of teaching experience, working with all ages between 6 and 55 years old! I can offer an array of resources for technical, rudimental and creative development, that will be tailored to the individual.
I believe in drumming that enhances the music and always considers musicality.
Teaching Info
In your lessons, we will focus on your relationship with the instrument and how developing this relationship can help you enjoy your time behind the drum kit.
We will work together to set goals for your playing. These goals will be aided by technical, rudimental and creative exercises to suit your circumstances and needs.
Listening to music will be encouraged and discovering what you enjoy listening to and playing will only aid your musical journey. Students will be in control of their journey and I’ll be here to guide them.
