Bio
Hi, my name is Daniel Sugrue and I am a touring musician with over 15 years of professional experience under my belt. Originally from Central Otago, I’ve played music since I was 7 years old. I started playing in bands with my family at the age of 11 and hold a Bachelor of Contemporary Music (BMus) majoring in Guitar and performance. After moving to Wellington 10 years ago, I am currently and previously have worked with bands such as Katchafire, Sons of Zion, Tomorrow People, Valley Kids, Kings and more. I work out of my home studio and via online platforms when not touring.
Teaching Info
I am offering Beginner to Intermediate/Advanced lessons to people of all ages at my home in Naenae, Lower Hutt. I offer online lessons via Zoom as well, if learning remotely is preffered.
From beginner chord and note knowledge to music theory and string theory or just wanting to learn songs, lessons are catered to the students specific goals and current ability level.
Class schedules are flexible depending on ability.
