Echo Studios is a family-run soundproof creative space for music/instrument lessons, podcasts, band rehearsals, studio recordings, live recordings and content creation in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, the list is endless!
At Echo Studios, we aim to keep our prices fair and affordable. Also offering a 20% discount for the use of our space (any type of recording and space hire), to students and independent artists.

At Echo Studios, we offer piano, keyboard, vocal, double bass, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, drum, song-writing and production lessons for students of all ages – from complete beginners to advanced musicians.
Our lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s building confidence, developing technique, or preparing for performances and assessments or just learning a fun new hobby!
Lessons range from 30min, 45min or 60min lessons, pricing ranging from $30-$65, depending on the tutors’ personal rates.
We also specialise in NCEA music support, helping secondary students with performance standards, theory, composition, and exam preparation. With experienced tutors and a supportive learning environment, we make music education engaging, practical, and rewarding.
