Teaching Info

Fun!!
Music is and always should be fun.
I believe that learning a musical instrument is a great way to build confidence, resilience, perseverance and connection.
I love supporting students to find their way of learning and strongly believe that awesome horn technique can be learned while working on music the students enjoy.
I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of exams.
I do believe in goals though so love to encourage my students to work towards a house concert at their house at the end of the year showcasing what they have been working on during the year.  I love seeing what the student chooses to play and helping them to organise a fun event for their family and friends.
Chips and dip are a must!
