Bio
As an experienced and enthusiastic performer and educator, I offer online lessons in piano, violin and viola, from beginner through to diploma level.
I graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a Master of Music in Performance (viola and conducting), with my undergraduate degree from the New Zealand School of Music. As well as being a member of the Institute of Registered Music Teachers New Zealand, I am also a Suzuki violin teacher, and an orchestral conductor.
I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher and teach upwards of a hundred musicians yearly. I have worked with a wide variety of people, from young children to adults, and can freely adapt to individual needs, including those with disabilities. I believe anyone, at any age, can experience the joy and benefits of learning a musical instrument.

Georgia’s approach to music tuition is encouraging and adaptable, valuing creating supportive structures where students can succeed. Depending on the age and level of the student, there are various method books that can be used, which can be supplemented with pieces in genres and styles that interest each student. Their Suzuki teacher training has given them a thorough grounding in teaching technical skills for beginner to advanced playing. Georgia has experience with ABRSM, Trinity, and Rock School syllabi, and adapting lessons for students with disabilities.
