Teaching Info

PERCUSSION & DRUMS – (CURRENTLY ONLINE ONLY)

Hannah teaches percussion to students as young as 5 years old, from a complete beginner to ATCL. She also teaches drums from beginner to Grade 5. She currently offers online lessons from the comfort of your own home. Students can choose how often they would like their lessons to be, and the contents will be fully customised to suit their needs.

Many teachers focus mainly on instrumental technique and coaching on how to play pieces, but overlook many other aspects of music. In Hannah’s lessons, she will guide you through every aspect of what it takes to become a musician – from covering the basics and solidifying technique, to teaching how to practice independently, looking after gear, and practising musicianship.

Hannah has experience with music exams such as Trinity College London and Trinity Rock and Pop. She also has a wide connection in the NZ music scene as well as the global percussion scene, which she can use to offer opportunities to students such as the NZSO National Youth Orchestra and the New Zealand Secondary School’s Orchestra.
