Bio

Josh Braden is a Christchurch-based musician. Primarily a guitarist, he is equally competent as a keyboardist, drummer, and bassist. Josh graduated from the CPIT Jazz School in Christchurch in 2011. He regularly performs solo gigs around Christchurch. He has toured both nationally and internationally with his band No Broadcast and has an upcoming national tour this summer. He performs with his project Butterflies Welcoming Spring and has also performed with Deep Water Creek, as well as regular performing solo gigs around Christchurch. Josh has performed at a number of festivals including Twisted Frequency, Feastock,& Lazy’s Sundays and has opened for numerous bands including Emerald City, Die Die Die!, Bauerhaus, Yawning Man, and Hera. Josh’s musical interests lie in creating ambient sound structures & noise art.
