Bio
Kia ora, I am a Guitarist, Pianist, Songwriter and Producer. I have written, produced, and released three records and toured the country consistently for years. I also have ten years experience as a teachers aide helping kids feel confident and creative through music and the arts. I love all kinds of music and am also a big fan of the world that is created around music. The music videos, the imagery that goes along with artists, and the way in which one finds their own unique voice through the instruments they play and the music they create. I hope to inspire individuals to feel confident and playful within their practice, drawing one to feel as though whatever it is they are hoping to express can be found and nurtured.
Teaching Info
I am a kind, patient teacher, I like to go with whats happening in the moment and I hope to help individuals to feel confident to improvise and find themselves within a song. We can learn songs that you love by listening or reading chords and tabs. I teach scales, picking and strumming techniques, different chord shapes and modes, all in the hopes of unlocking the instrument as something that can be explored and used to express feeling and emotion.
