Bio

Music hasn’t just been a part of my life, it has been the defining threat of it. My journey behind the keys began at a very young age sparking a lifelong passion that drove me to complete all of my piano grades early on. That rigorous foundation gave me the technical discipline and deep understanding of musical theory that I bring to every lesson today.

But my musical education didn’t stop at the piano. Driven by a curiosity for different sounds and styles, I went on to play a variety of instruments. This versatility eventually took me from the practice room to some of the biggest stages in the country performing as a multi instrument in some premier nationwide tribute shows.

As a teacher, I bridge these two worlds. I combine the structured discipline of formal grades with the vibrant real-world energy of a season touring musician whether you are a young beginner striking at your first court or an advanced student looking to master performance dynamics, my goal is to help you find your unique musical voice, build impeccable technique and above all have a great time doing so :)

Teaching Info

I believe that great piano playing comes from learning great technique but also having a lot of fun doing it and I make sure that my students enjoy every lesson while we build on their skills.Having come through the strict discipline of completing my grades at a young age, I really try and make this a fun experience for my students.

I can also do the lessons in the comfort of the students home in and around the Tauranga and Papamoa area.
