Mussorgsky Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, St. Petersburg, touring throughout Russia and also Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Greece, Japan, and China. Her soloist roles include Violetta (La Traviata), Gilda (Rigoletto), Oscar (Verdi’s Masquerade Ball), Michaela (Bizet’s Carmen), Musetta (Puccini’s La Boheme), The Swan Princess (The Tale of Tsar Saltan), Marfa (The Tsar’s Bride), and many others. From 2017-202 she was a professor of singing at the Yancheng Music University and has led vocal master classes at Beijing Main Conservatory. In 2018 she took part in a televised musical spectacular in Nanjing, China. Since 2020 she has lived in NZ in Auckland, Palmerston North, and Wellington.
Olga has extensive experience in vocal teaching for both adults and children, taking an individual approach to each student. English is her second language, but she has extensive experience in teaching foreign students outside Russia. Her teaching of vocal technique is accompanied by vocal demonstration and also focuses on presentation. She will determine each student’s type of voice, identify their range, select songs, and grow their voice. Each lesson will open up new possibilities for the student’s voice through exercises, including the secrets of sound production. She will prepare students for admission to an academic music course, or for a solo concert, as well as helping with Italian pronunciation, style, and artistry.
