Bio
Olivia is a freelance cellist and teacher currently based in Auckland.
Since completing a Bachelor of Music in Classical Performance cello at the New Zealand School of Music and a Masters in Contemporary Performance at Berklee, Spain, she continues to expand her music knowledge through performance, composition, collaboration, and improvisation.
She has performed in countless genres and spaces from classical settings such as orchestra and chamber music to film soundtracks, theatre shows, and records and tours with bands of various genres.
Olivia is passionate about teaching cello in a fun and approachable way, with 10 years of teaching experience across a wide range of ages and levels – from baby toddler music classes to adult beginners!
