Bio

Raylee Bradfield has 25+ years of teaching and performing experience in popular music. Raylee’s teaching specialties are singing and songwriting and has taught at performing art schools (Excel School of Performing Arts) and tertiary institutes (Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand) as well as teaching private students.  Raylee also writes, releases and performs her own music around the country.

Students can expect to receive tuition in singing and/or songwriting that assists in:

• Singing: posture, breath management, forward placement, song selection, performance dynamics, range development
• Songwriting: Exercises that develop lyric writing – object writing, creating metaphor, Development of song structure, chords/melody, contrasting sections, arrangements
