Bio
Viki Jin is a classically trained pianist who is passionate about music and loves sharing its joy with others.
In 2020, Viki completed a Bachelor of Music and Commerce at the University of Auckland and was awarded a distinction in her Trinity LTCL diploma. She has also received numerous awards in piano competitions across Auckland, Hamilton, and Te Awamutu. In 2021, she earned the LMusNZ Piano diploma from NZMEB, followed by a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Canterbury in 2022. She achieved the AMusTCL in 2024, and most recently, in 2025, was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music (FRSM) with Merit — one of the highest performance qualifications offered by ABRSM.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Viki has worked with students of all ages and levels. Many of her students have gone on to excel in competitions, achieve high distinctions in ABRSM exams, and win various awards across Christchurch. She offers lessons in both English and Chinese.
