My name is Tomislav Nikolic and I've been a private violin teacher for more than 24 years. I've held orchestral posts in Serbia through the 1980's and played in the first violin section for 20 years with The Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra.
Beethoven said: “To play a wrong note is insignificant. To play without passion is inexcusable.” Having lessons is a vital part of understanding music, but more important my lessons are to provoke passion. I charge less than other teachers, not because I don’t teach well, but because I genuinely want to help students.
Piano lessons available for the beginner student to Grade 5. For ages 6 to adults. Practical and theory exam preparation available. Supportive and encouraging environment.
