I am offering heavily discounted lessons to adults who are already proficient on their instrument (any melody based instrument) and would like to learn jazz improvisation.

I am incredibly passionate about jazz improv and get so excited and lit up teaching it!

Teaching Info

Learning the building blocks of jazz improvisation:

– the blues scale

-transcriptions of well known jazz players

– improvising with major scale, melodic and harmonic minor, dorian, mixolydian and their arpeggios

–identifying and landing on important chord tones

– ii V I chord progressions (most common chord progression in jazz) and patterns for playing through them

And so much more.. This is just the beginning!
