Bio

Kia Ora,

I am a Wellington based filmmaker who has been playing the trumpet for 18 years. I have played in a variety bands, focusing on different genres. I am excited to get back into teaching after a hiatus.

Teaching Info

For beginners, we will focus on breathing technique, correct embouchure and fingering. From there, we can progress to scales and etudes. However, I believe a student’s interest should be encouraged. In my experience, the greatest enjoyment comes from learning to play what sounded good to me. I will endeavour to develop this environment in my lessons.
