I believe that creativity blossoms in a positive learning environment and I strive for this in all of my teaching activities. I aim to make lessons fun whilst providing an excellent technical and musical grounding for my students. I tailor my teaching to the individual needs of each student whether that is to learn to read music, develop advanced violin technique or simply to explore the wonderful repertoire that is available for the instrument.
For those who like qualifications, I am happy to teach to either ABRSM or Trinity exam syllabuses but am equally comfortable with helping you to reach your own milestones if that is what you prefer!
