Bio
Starflower Music Education, originally Priyavanti’s Music Education, offers one-on-one private lessons in voice, violin or piano. Lessons are with Daisy Taylor, formerly Priya Makwana. Daisy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Jewellery and Metalsmithing, a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Classics, and a nearly complete MusB majoring in Music Studies. Daisy has completed first year Performance Classical Voice at NZSM and second year Performance Classical Voice at the University of Otago. Daisy studied voice with Margaret Medlyn (ONZM) and Lisa Harper Brown at NZSM. She also had some lessons on the violin with Martin Riseley during her time at NZSM. Daisy has studied voice with Assoc. Prof. Judy Bellingham (MNZM) at the University of Otago also.
Teaching Info
Daisy offers face-to-face lessons. A free initial trial lesson is available to all new prospective students. Students are encouraged to purchase music for their lessons.
