Bio
Michelle Keating trained in contemporary and musical theatre voice at the University of Otago during her Bachelor of Performing Arts. She then completed her Master of Speech-Language Pathology (Distinction) at the University of Canterbury. Specialising in vocology, Michelle is invested in training singers to use their voices efficiently and safely, and helping singers to recover from vocal injuries/pathologies.
As a voice therapist, Michelle enjoys voice rehabilitation work and gender-affirming voice therapy. She particularly enjoys help her clients regain their voice and guiding them through the journey of singing again.
Michelle is based in Lincoln, Canterbury and is also experienced teaching online.
Teaching Info
Michelle is experienced teaching a wide range of repertoire to singers of all ages and experience levels. Group and individual lessons available. Michelle enjoys supporting students to find performance opportunities, whether that is entering a vocal competition or having the courage to sing a number at a local open-mic night.
