Dear prospective students and parents,
Welcome to our page!
Based in Burwood, Christchurch we teach individual Violin, Viola and cello lessons using Color Strings based pedagogy for young children- which places an emphasis on reading music and musicality, and Simon Fischer and Kumar for grade 8+.
As well as using abrsm grades, and working towards school scholarships, of which several of our students have been successful, we also offer extra classes outside of the lessons to provide a fully rounded education.
Lessons on the instruments are taught one on one, online, or in person once or twice a week, with the option for those who are 8-18 to join in on our theory, ensemble or practice journal group activities at a minimal extra cost. For adult learners there is the chance to join our adult ensemble on Monday morning- you do not need to learn from us to join in on the Theory or the adult ensemble. .

We aim to make every lesson enjoyable and inspiring. Not just showing and telling them how to play, but also giving them the best mental mindset for practice and performing!
Drawing from years of research, study, professional orchestral experience, chamber music, and personal knowledge, we give our students the most fully rounded music education that we can.
As well as offering concert and masterclass opportunities- self run and arranged through different organizations we also, (if they would like,) can take our students through abrsm grades and trinity.
